Bluescreen |
|
The Bluescreen consisted of 4 wooden boards of 6m2, 2 length of material of each 6m2 and we use also a blue sheet of 9m2 to hide the mattress. Totally the bluescreen has approximately 45m2, nothing compared to Hollywood production, but it is the biggest Bluescreen in our region.
The wooden board were painted with 2 Layer of white colour and to layer of blue colour. The painting was done by Fabienne in manual work (see picture

At the beginning it was only planed to do one suit for the Sewer and some hoods for the demons,
because black material is quite expensive.
But Mark Weidmann (stoned Demon) owns plenty bale of cloth that he didn't use.
He kindly allows us to use them for the dresses.
So it was possible that all demons get a tunic.
Totally we have 15 tunics, 11 are black and 4 are grey. The grey ones are for the
low-ranking demons. They are all cut in only one size. Except the one for Fabienne
that she made specially for herself because the other ones were too large for her.
There are also 15 (ore more) hoods, that are use to cover head and neck of the demons.
4 different type of hood were made. The first type is like a bag that is pulled over the head.
It covers completely face and head, so the actors don't have to wear a mask.
The second type is like a rectangular material piece that is sewed at the small end.
But the most of the hoods are of the third type. The hood posses at the end something like wings.
These wings are quite handy because they hide the naked neck. It is also possible to fix the
wings together, so that only the eyes are free.
The forth type of hood was never use (nobody known why). This type of hood was made
from glued material leftovers.
The suit of the Sewer is probably the most lavish dresses in this movie. It consisted
of 6 different parts. A monk-like habit, a whole-head-hood which is wear under the actual hood,
a scarf who cover the naked throat of the Sewer, a black belt, black gloves and a
long black cape that reach down the ground. Under this equipment Simon Fezzo is also
wearing a black T-shirt, Black trousers and black shoes.

Props |
|
The props for demon and vampire (sword, knifes, mask, vampire teeth...)
were bought in different halloween- and carnival-shops in Germany, Because in Germany
allnearly everthing is much cheaper (exp. One of mask costs in Germany 3.25 times
lesser then in Switzerland, see picture).

Some of the demon-weapons are made from old garden tool, which were pimped
in a demoniac way. For example axes, sickles or hatchets.
Other weapon (spears, halberds...) were build from plastic pipes and solid cardboard.
All other props where borrowed from friends and acquaintance or rented. (Firearms, power saw...).

The most horrible thing in this movie was the planning of the actors.
"Who has do be where, at which time and with whom..."
It was a big effort, that all wanted actors where at the right time at the right place.
A goof flair and an great organisation talent were necessary to planed all in a way,
that each actors had enough weekend left and that the scene where shoot as effective as possible.
Fabienne, who organised all this, has declared that she will never to it again, because
she spent so much time only for send and answers mail to the actors.
It is also very unpleasant to phone after the actors who didn't answers at the mail and to
make sure that they will come (an annoying job, that Thierry took on).
But at the end, all went downright: the actors arrived always at time or
they phone early enough if the couldn't come. Except for one shooting day where
two actors never appeared at the set.
